Draco
The composition Draco is based on an ancient Chinese myth about the constellation Draco. The Chinese believed when an eclips occured, Draco (a powerful dragon) came from the sky and started eating the sun. With several large drums they tried to scare the dragon away. The sun and Chinese are represented by two themes. First the sun rises, worshipped by the Chinese. Draco comes of his place and consumes the sun. The score ends with the victory of the Chinese and the defeat of the dragon. For once, owed by the Asian timbre, you will enter the realm of the ancient Chinese empire.
